In this match, Indian captain Dinesh Karthik won the toss and decided to bowl first. After this, playing first, the Derbyshire team scored 150 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs. India had got a target of 151 runs to win, which this team achieved by losing 3 wickets in 16.4 overs.

Derbyshire gave India a target of 151 runs to win. Sanju Samson and Ruturaj Gaikwad opened the innings for India. Ruturaj was not successful in scoring runs and was dismissed after scoring just 3 runs, while Sanju played an innings of 38 runs in 30 balls with the help of a six and 4 fours.

After this, Deepak Hooda played a fast innings of 59 runs in 37 balls with the help of 2 sixes and 5 fours and brought the team on the path of victory and got out. Then Suryakumar Yadav scored an unbeaten 36 off 22 balls with the help of 4 fours and captain Dinesh Karthik scored an unbeaten 7 off 7 balls to give the team a 7-wicket win

Umran Malik took two wickets

Batting first, Derby Shire scored 150 runs and lost 8 wickets. For this team, Madsen played the highest innings of 28 runs. At the same time, captain Masood scored only 8 runs. After this, Cartwright contributed 27 runs, Brooke Guest contributed 23 runs, Alex Hughes contributed 24 runs. On the other hand, Arshdeep Singh and Umran Malik scored two successes each while Akshar Patel and Venkatesh Iyer got one success each.
