Virat Kohli scored the first half-century of this IPL season as he opened the innings for Royal Challengers Bangalore scoring 58 runs in 53 deliveries while other than Kohli, Rajat Patidar also scored a half-century scoring 52 runs in just 32 balls along with Glenn Maxwell’s quick innings of 33 runs in just 18 deliveries which lead Bangalore to the score of 170/6 by the end of 20 overs. Pradeep Sangwan took 2 wickets by giving away 19 runs in his 4 over spell.

While chasing, Gujarat Titans were struggling a bit as they were 100/4 at some point and it seemed Bangalore had a chance of winning the game but the middle order pair of Rahul Tewatia and David Miller took the whole game away from Royal Challengers Bangalore. Tewatia scored 43* in just 25 deliveries while Miller scored 39* in 24 deliveries. Wanindu Hasaranga took 2 wickets for Bangalore.
