Rajasthan Royal’s batting innings fumbled a bit initially as they were 33/3 losing their orange cap holder Jos Buttler, Padikkal and Ashwin early on. But as the game progressed and Royals lost a few more wickets then came to bat, their savior Riyan Parag scoring 56 runs in 31 balls which took Rajasthan to a defendable score of 144/8 on the board. Skipper Sanju Samson also scored 27 in 21 deliveries before getting bowled out to Wanindu Hasaranga. Siraja, Hasaranga nad Hazelwood grabbed 2 wickets each for RCB.

As the chase progressed, RCB struggled like they were against Hyderabad in their previous game. Surprisingly Virat Kohli came to open the innings with Faf du Plessis but it changed no fortune for them, the top scorer for Bangalore was their skipper Faf Du Plesis scoring 23 runs in 21 balls. Kuldeep Sen picked up 4 wickets for Rajasthan in his spell of 3.3 overs inclung the important wickets of Faf Du Plessis and Glen Maxwell got out on a golden duck.
