Ind vs SL still that interesting match-off?
India and Sri Lanka will face off each other in the final Test (Day/Night) of the two-match test series at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, commencing 12 March .Team India lead the series 1-0 after winning the 1st test in Mohali by an innings and 222 runs.India is all set to host their third pink-ball Test match .Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma will look for his first Test series win as India’s full-time captain.

India have featured in three Day/Night Test matches till now. They won against Bangladesh in their maiden pink-ball Test match at the Eden Gardens in 2019 , winning the match by an innings and 46 runs in less than three days.India lost to Australia in their second Day/Night test match in Adelaide, Australia in 2020 .In 2021, India defeated England in the pink-ball test match in Ahmedabad in just two days.
Former Indian captain, Virat Kohli is the leading run getter for India in Day/Night Test matches. He has scored 241 runs from four innings at an average of 60.25. In the game against Bangladesh, Kohli became the first-ever Indian player to hit a continued a Day/Night Test.
Each and every batter of the team contributed in the last match in Mohali. Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja were phenomenal in the last encounter. All eyes will be on Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli – the two veterans who haven’t scored big runs in a while.
