India, who were earlier at 5th place in the ICC World Test Championship standings, is now currently 4th on the points table with a win percentage of 58.33. Australia, who are going out as the favorites to win the Karachi Test, stays at the number 1 spot of ICC World Test Championship standings, followed by Pakistan and South Africa at 2nd and 3rd respectively. Sri Lanka, on the other hand, who recently lost the 2 match test series against India by 2-0 is at 5th one place below India with a win percentage of 50.

Meanwhile, West Indies got slipped to the 8th spot in the ICC World Test Championship rankings below Bangladesh as 2 points were docked for slow over-rate during their drawn 1st Test against England in Antigua.

As a result, West Indies were fined 40% of their match fee and were also penalized 2 points in the ICC World Test Championship standings. They are one of 3 teams to have been docked points due to penalty overs. India has been docked 3 points and 9th-placed England docked 10 across 10 matches to date.

India will face off the 9th place England for the remaining last test of the 6 match Test series which kicked off back in August 2021 but due to covid positive cases in the Indian dressing room, the last and the decider test was canceled.

India leads the series by 2-1 but Can England make a comeback to save the series? Or the high on the confidence Indian side will pull it off? Even a draw for India will be enough for them to clinch the series.
