In the first match of the 3-match T20I series, Team India will take on Australia at the PCA IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali.

It will be a good practice match for both the teams before the World Cup where both the teams will try to find their perfect XI.

Talking about the recent performance of both the teams, while Australia’s team has reached here after winning the ODI series against New Zealand, while Team India failed to reach the final of the Asia Cup. In such a situation, Team India will have a chance to gain momentum before the World Cup.

Talking about T20I cricket, India has the upper hand as compared to Australia as India has won 13 out of 23 matches so far while 9 matches have been in Australia’s name, team India on paper is also looking strong in this series.

The team’s bowling was exposed in the Asia Cup but the return of Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel through this series has strengthened the bowling. The match will take place at the Punjab Cricket Association ISBĀ Stadium in Mohali at 7 pm, so a lot will depend on the weather and pitch report here.

According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature is expected to be around 25-27 degrees in the evening.

Humidity is expected to remain at 70 per cent while dew will play an important role in this match. The stormy forecast will in the afternoon and the chance of rain is being given as 25 percent.
