The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is planning to conduct postponed women’s domestic tournaments in March. BCCI is planning to host Senior Women’s T20 tournament and Col CK Naidu (under 23) trophy between March and May.
BCCI is looking to conduc two women’s championships after the successful completion of the first round of the Ranji Trophy 2022. All the domestic tournaments were postponed due to covid wave in India.
“As we completed the Round 1 of the Ranji Trophy 2021-22, it gives me immense pleasure to apprise you that Sr Women’s T20 and Col CK Naidu trophy – 2021-22 shall take place during the months of March-May 2022,” Jay Shah , BCCI secretary told.
The fixtures have not been announced by the BCCI but the preparations are underway for the domestic tournaments.
“The BCCI will share the draw of the tournaments and bio-security protocols in due course.”
