The new IPL franchise- Ahmedabad IPL team has announced its official name before the mega-auction for the IPL 2022. The Ahmedabad franchise, which is owned by the CVC Capital Partners, has decided ‘Gujarat Titans’ as their official name. The addition of 2 new teams, Ahmedabad and Lucknow, made the Indian Premier League (IPL) more interesting and competing as a 10-team tournament.

Lucknow IPL team, officially named Lucknow Super Giants, which is owned by RG Sanjeev Goenka Group has already announced its name and official logo which was unfortunately not up to the expectations of the fans. Gujarat Titans have already confirmed their draft picks and support staff for the IPL 2022.
