The hosts India register an easy 7-wicket victory over Sri Lanka as India win the three match T-20 series by 2-0 with a game in hand to clean sweep the series. The Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja scores the winning runs for India as the hosts wrapped up the game with 17 balls to go. Shreyas Iyer, who is gonna start his IPL 2022 career as a KKR skipper scored 74 runs in 44 balls proving his worth as a player and on the other hand, Jadeja scored a quickfire 45 runs in just 18 balls.
The Sri Lankan Pathum Nissanka was a threat for the Indian bowlers at the beginning of the match as he smashed 75 off 53 balls helping Sri Lanka to post a total of 183/5 against India in the second T20 International on Saturday. Apart from him, the Sri Lankan skipper Dasun Shanaka’s played a small cameo 47 off 19 balls which added crucial 58 runs from 4.2 overs. For India, Jasprit Bumrah with 1/24 had the best figures as 72 runs came off the last four overs.
